The ambiance was creative and relaxing, and the staff ensured we had everything we needed to unleash our inner artists. It was such a fun and unique way to bond with my mom and Gabby—lots of laughs, a little paint flipping, and beautiful keepsakes to take home! After exploring the lively Universal CityWalk, we came back at 5 PM for dinner, and Five on the Hill absolutely wowed us. The chef’s gift, a stunning Oaxacan-inspired chile relleno with butternut squash purée, crème fraîche, and pomegranate arils, was a masterpiece—rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My mom adored the Elf’s Pumpkin Pot Pie, a heartwarming dish with tender chicken and flaky puff pastry served in a petite pumpkin—it was pure comfort on a plate. And let’s not forget the lobster tacos—delicate, flavorful, and a perfect way to indulge! From the creative vibes at the Paint and Sip to the unforgettable culinary experience, Five on the Hill made our Universal City adventure truly remarkable. Can’t wait to return! 🌟More infoFIVE on the HillPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Studio City•4.1

The various entrees selected by our party all received enthusiastic thumbs up. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommended.More infoTrue Food Kitchen - PasadenaPrice: Moderate• American• Pasadena•4.6
- MMashaOrange County •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI booked afternoon tea for a group of four. We were seated promptly, and blankets were provided to keep us warm outside, which my guests loved. The tea and scones arrived quickly, and everything was delicious—warm tea, tasty sandwiches, and lovely desserts. Although the outdoor seating is near the road, it wasn’t busy, so noise wasn’t an issue. Some additional separation, like drapery or dividers, could enhance the ambiance, but the shrubbery provided adequate distance. Overall, we had a fantastic afternoon and will definitely return. - LLoriLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 18, 2024Went here before heading to Pantages Theatre on a Thursday night. Loved the bar, the pizza we ordered and the service was great. Wish there was more seating available (we sat at the bar). Would definitely go here again.More infoJane QPrice: Moderate• Californian• Hollywood•3.5
