We especially enjoy coming here in the summer and walking around Cooper River Park. A large playground is right next to the restaurant making it a good time for kiddos too!More infoLaScala's Birra - PennsaukenPrice: Moderate• Italian• Pennsauken•4.4

- SShadikPhiladelphia County •1 review4.0Dined on Jan 1, 2025Always wanted to try Indian cuisine and I'm so glad I was lead to Naan. I had a reservation for 5pm on New Years Day but it wasn't necessary because there were only 3 tables including ours being served the entire time. The eastern decor mixed with the modern Indian Playlist really keeps you indulged in the culture throughout the night! Our server was such a nice young Indian gentleman who gave us helpful recommendations for our meal. He offered us a choice of tap, filtered, or sparkling water which I didn't expect but appreciated. We started with the Masala Hummus Platter which really was delicious and familiar. It was pretty much Mediterranean with a curry zing. For our entree we ordered the Chicken Biryani and the Lamb Korma. The Biryani was chicken inside the rice mixed with an explosion of flavor. It comes with a cold yogurt based topping on the side which I personally didn't find use for but according to our waiter it's supposed to go on top of the meal. But the hit of the night went to the white cream sauce on the Korma! It reminded me of an Italian marsala sauce but Indian style. The Lamb was so tender that it fell apart when your fork touched it. It came with a side of classic white basmati rice. It was all enough to take a small platter home for leftovers. We passed on dessert only because we had some at home but will hopefully try some next time. I also have to add, that towards the end of dinner, I heard scary loud banging noises coming from inside the mall which prompted me to actually get up and investigate because it sounded like gun shots. Come to find out, there is a boxing game where people hit a punching bag just right down from the restaurant. The noise did stop after a minute or two. Overall Naan was a great experience and we will definitely come back again!More infoNaan - Indian BistroPrice: Moderate• Indian• Moorestown•4.5
