Best Lunch Restaurants in Vernon Hills

My favorite, local restaurant. Great menu. Best quality food that's delicious from steaks, burgers, to their famous chopped salad. The service is always top-notch. I feel Lincolnshire is the best Wildfire. A bit too pricey, but the food is delicious.

Adam did a terrific job of taking care of our family for dinner last night -table for 10! It was so busy but our food came quickly and was absolutely delicious! Adam took great care of our table-and was so much fun! Thank you Adam!

Christmas Eve dinner. We had reservations and had to wait about 15 minutes to get seated but staff was on it and was very responsive. Every table was full. Our server Julien did a great job. He was friendly and courteous even with the overwhelming number of guests. He offered drinks and knew the menu. Salad was fresh and bread was warm. Main entrees were good. My chicken parm was a bit dry and not as pretty as usual, but again, probably busiest day of the year. Ambiance was loud and festive. After dinner coffee and cheesecake were delicious. Overall, a great experience.

We came here for Christmas Eve and were seated promptly. Our waitress, Lauren, was very good. The food came out at reasonable times until dessert - we waited 45 minutes! Lauren apologized and said it was due to a backup in the kitchen . What I do not understand is that the menu was preset and the desserts should have been plated well in advance. When we left, we heard people complaining that they had reservations and were waiting for over 30 minutes past their reservation time. We enjoyed the atmosphere and food, but the service could have been better. We will definitely come back! I am sure with it being Christmas Eve, the kitchen was backlogged. Hopefully, they get things figured out for next year!

We came after my daughter’s band concert, around 8ish. I made a reservation just in case and to get my points on OpenTable. We got seated right away at a high top table. Ambiance is nice. There’s a good selection of alcohol from beer, seltzers, wine and other spirits. We all enjoyed our food choices of rigatoni, salmon, spicy shrimp, bbq smoke chicken and impossible burger. I do recommend for family, friends, and work outing.
