- LLorrieBaltimore / Maryland •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had a good experience. We booked a reservation and got there a little early but got to our table at our exact reservation time. The server, Terry, was great! He told some funny jokes and was very attentive despite the busy night at the restaurant. I was with my boyfriend and he ordered the Talapia with crab meat. Each meal has designated sides but you are able to change them, well, we asked and they were accommodating. He really enjoyed the dish. I ordered the fried chicken. It is a lot and I only ate half of a piece. You get a breast, a thigh, a leg and a wing. It is smothered in honey and pecans. I could have done without that but it was delicious. We also shared a piece of the best pecan pie I have ever had! A big bonus is that they have their own parking lot so there were no issues with parking. We will come back during our next Savannah trip!More infoThe Pirates' HousePrice: Moderate• American• Historic District - North•4.3

My husband drinks an old fashion. He thinks it is the best one he has ever had. Our servers were so knowledgeable and professional. Everything about this restaurant is first class. - AAmyTampa / Central Florida West •25 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 23, 2024I had originally made my reservation for outside seating, unaware of the weather forecast. So of course, it was raining when I arrived. :) The hostess, Tammy, was a charm in getting me a table in the very busy restaurant. I'm so grateful for her accommodating me. Then I met Gabi, who was my server. She is a lovely person and was very helpful, attentive, and pleasant. I ordered the deviled eggs as an appetizer and the Southern Charm burger as my main course. I was blown away by both - so delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and cannot thank enough Tammy, Gabi, and the entire staff for such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Ardsley Station!More infoArdsley StationPrice: Expensive• Southern• Thomas Square•4.8
- JJoeNew Orleans / Louisiana •19 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 23, 2024Our first time to dine at Vic’s. A little confusing finding and walked down to the river front and went to Vic’s River Grill next door. The host at VRG kindly walked us to the Vic’s on the River entrance and explained about going through the coffee shop and using the elevator to go up four floors to the restaurant. Come to find out they have a street level entrance that we used after dinner. We had a reservation and they let our son, whom we were meeting, be seated at 5:45 or we would have been 10 minutes late so that was good. The atmosphere was great and we had a table with a window facing the river. Our server, Alix was very friendly and knowledgeable of the entire menu. She took our cocktail orders and brought us out a basket of homemade biscuits. The martini’s were very good and my son’s Malbec was good also. My son and I had the braised short ribs that came with mashed potatoes and fresh green beans which was very tender and tasty and my wife had a Caesar salad. We found the prices to be very good. We will definitely be adding this restaurant to our Savannah dining list but will find a closer parking garage and now know about the street level entrance.More infoVic's on the RiverPrice: Expensive• Southern• Historic District - North•4.7
