Best Lunch Restaurants in Cranston

This was the first time at Avvio. Food was outstanding, the pork diner was extremely flavorful, but not overwhelming, very tender, perfect poutine. The chicken parm panini sandwich was a meal and a half. Great take home. Wait staff, smiling, friendly, being first time there pointed out some of their signature dish’s. Service was one of the best in long time for me as I eat out often.

Christmas Eve dinner. Festive, lively atmosphere without being too loud for easy conversation. Service was excellent, beginning with the accommodation of a late addition guest. Staff was there for every need and question yet never made us feel rushed—even though our meal went past closing. I expected great food and was not disappointed. Oysters were particularly good and French-pressed coffee always adds a great finishing touch. My teenagers had a great time and have a new appreciation for real food. Highly recommend.

Overall very good . A few details .Blood orange Cosmo in the bar was sour. I think proportions were off. Bartender was very upbeat and pleasant. Overall meal was very good but one guest thought the Carbonara was fine but not the best. Barrata was excellent. Pizzetta was very good but too large for an appetizer. I would note that on the menu. One guest enjoyed the feast of the seven fishes. Veal tenderloin was a probably medium as requested. I should have ordered medium rare. Pork chop was very good . Our waitress Gabrielle was excellent , personable and just the right approach for a Christmas Eve celebration.

Our bartender, Jamie, was fantastic. My wife’s martini and my old fashioned were great. Noticing my reaction to blue cheese dressing(love that it’s chunky) for our appetizer, she doubled it without us asking.
