Welcome to The Elephant Restaurant The Elephant is a bright, informal restaurant which is situated near the beautiful Torbay harbour. It was the first restaurant in Torquay to be awarded a Michelin star which it maintains today. We aim to source all our ingredients locally and sustainably, many from our dedicated farm in Brixham. Run by chef proprietor, Simon Hulstone and his wife Katy. Food is cooked by a talented team of chefs and served by friendly, professional team of staff.Due to the style of cooking we cannot produce dairy free menus & therefore cannot provide vegan options.A deposit is required to make reservations on special days of the year, on our special events, or for tables of 6 or more. Excellent Sunday roast with the family. Good beef perfectly cooked, and excellent service and very good value. We used to come regularly in the middle of winter for Sunday roasts. £2.0o a head in those days but it was 45 years ago!! Set menu Beef/ pork/lamb, rotated each week, and jugs of beer on the table!

Thank you so much it was for my parents 65th anniversary, the service was fantastic the girls went out of their way to make it a memorable experience and the food was just as good. It was better than a cream tea I had a few weeks ago that was 3 times the cost. And you can’t beat that view, it was a lovely afternoon that I throughly recommend
