- WWendieVIPWashington, D.C. Area •105 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWent for the 4 course Christmas Lunch based on the menu posted online (lots of seafood). We were happy that we landed on The Pembroke! Started with cocktails from the holiday menu - a mescal & a bourbon drink. Yummy. Raw & charcuterie bar was next. The stone crabs were a bit hard to manage because we didn't have crackers or lobster forks, but we made it work. Appetizers consisted of seared scallop (minus bacon) & lobster bisque, both of which were done to perfection. Entree was turbot, which was also cooked to perfection & the accompanying clams were the highlight for me. Dessert was ok, but the weakness of the meal - I had sorbet & my friend had Mont Blanc, which was definitely different than the usual format. I did like the addition of coffee ice cream on it - definitely the highlight of the dessert. Staff was very friendly & knowledgeable. Our server, Daniel, was extra attentive, but everyone chipped in to assist. Would definitely go back for a special occasion! Thank you for making Christmas a unique experience!More infoThe PembrokePrice: Expensive• Global, International• Dupont Circle•4.5
- AAnnaWashington, D.C. Area •12 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoA wonderful Christmas dinner here. Food was plentiful and well prepared. Starter and dessert served by waiter. The main course and sides were buffet. Choice of turkey, salmon, lamb, and/or ham. Dozen side dishes. Something for all tastes. Loved the warm rolls. Plenty of street parking on Christmas but not regular work days.. Our second Christmas here. Plan to return next Christmas. Also I have eaten here on other occasions and food is uniformly good.More infoTeddy & The Bully BarPrice: Expensive• American• Dupont Circle•4.6

- PPaulWashington, D.C. Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe restaurant, bar and lounge areas spread out across multiple rooms / terraces / levels so it is a really intimate and fun layout. Excellent service and value. Price for classic drinks skewed a tad high in my opinion. I'll try and catch a happy hour sometime and the jazz performances.More infoTabard InnPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Dupont Circle•4.7
