- DDebsGloucestershire/Wiltshire •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoIt's the second time at the Foxham and it didn't disappoint. This time we decided to go on a Saturday to try the seafood. It was quiet when we arrived, so were able to pick where we sat. The waitress (forgot to get her name again) was as,lovely as the Sunday before , even though it got busier and she was serving the food as well the bar, she wasn't flustered and made, time to check on us and chat. I had the grilled lobster with fries and truffle mayonnaise, my mum had the place with new potatoes ....both were absolutely divine, ...I went and complimented the chef ,who also was lovely. Can't rate this place enough!More infoThe FoxhamPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Chippenham•4.7
- DDavidBath/Somerset •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024Superb food as ever, great service too. Slightly chilly by the window and a table empty by the fire but we did book an hour and a half before going so May have been booked by someone else soonerMore infoLa FlambéPrice: Very Expensive• European• Sutton Benger•4.8
- TTraceyOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review4.0Dined on Oct 30, 2024Beautiful setting - afternoon tea in front if an open fire. Staff were extremely courteous and attentive. The free chocolates for the birthday guest was a lovely touch! And there was unlimited tea. The standard scones were deliscious and the clotted cream to die for. Disappointing the jam was in jars not a dish, there was no butter and the birthday girl's gluten free scone was more like a biscuit than a scone - too thin and shattered when split. The cakes were OK but nothing special - carrot cake and chocolate brownies pretty basic, and for £85 for three I was expecting something a bit more special - maybe at least one cream cake. The gf sandwiches were too dry to eat. Overall a lovely afternoon sipping tea in front of the fire, but turned out to be not the best birthday treat for someone who's gluten free.More infoAfternoon Tea @ Holt HotelPrice: Moderate• Afternoon Tea• Bicester•4.6
- KKatrinelOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review5.0Dined on Oct 27, 2024We’ve been dining for 3 nights at the Holt hotel and every time it was delicious and the service 10 out 10, a bit expensive but everything is I guess these days. Highly recommend the restaurant and the hotel! 🥰More infoDinner @ The Holt HotelPrice: Expensive• British• Bicester•4.2
- JjohnOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review4.0Dined on Oct 6, 2024We had a Sunday buffet lunch at the Holt as a second wedding anniversary celebration. The staff were lovely, those around 2 years ago remembering us which was lovely. It was probably the best buffet I have had. The range of veg was excellent. Thank you Holt.More infoLunch @ The Holt HotelPrice: Moderate• British• Bicester•4
