The Farehouse is located in the heart of the historic Taylors Mill’s Dock No. 3. The mill began its life as the Southern Bleachery and Piedmont Print Works during the height of the Greenville area’s reign as the Textile Capital of the World. Closing as a mill in 1965, the building found a variety of partial uses until revitalization efforts began in the mid 2000s. While many mill revitalization projects have converted mills into condos and other residential projects, the Taylors Mill is proud to be the largest grassroots project of its kind in the upstate of South Carolina. Today the Taylors Mill seeks to facilitate craft and commerce for a new generation in the heart of Taylors, SC. The Taylors Mill is reclaiming creative community. This was our third visit, and they are outstanding every time we have been there. Everyone, from the folks at the front desk to the wait staff to the management are friendly, professional. They make you feel welcome. Once the food arrives, you are culinary nirvana. We have had brunch dishes previously that were outstanding. Today we all had sandwiches and were raving about them. We will definitely be back!! Well worth the drive from Tryon. Brava/Bravo!!

Our first visit and the deviled eggs were our favorite. My bacon maple old fashioned was also fantastic. Love the fact that the menu changes often. We eat out a lot and get tired of the same menus offered by most restaurants. We will definitely go again.
