Best Lunch Restaurants in Gunbarrel

We had a wonderful valentines dinner at Gemini. Even though it was completely full, the food was overall quite good (one exception, see below), the wait staff attentive without hovering, and the ambience relaxed. We had two (minor) hiccups preventing this from being a perfect meal (the way it usually is here): There was a longer than usual amount of time between when our appetizer/salad came out and the entree/sides were delivered. in fact, we felt the need to inquire whether our entree order had somehow got misplaced - but it did get delivered and of course was quite tasty. The other issue for us was we ordered a crab/endive dish that included flavors that neither my wife or I really appreciated - the endive was more bitter than typical (and I use endive a fair amount in my own cooking), overpowering the crab. But, that may just be our taste buds, your. mileage may vary!

We were seated in a booth too close to the front door and it was cold even though the restaurant was full of people. The food was good and came quickly but it was not very hot. The service was good but not very personal. I know they were very busy, so maybe that's the reason. Prices were typical for the area and portions were large.

This is a true neighborhood gem. Try the salmon pasta!

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The servers were attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the wait time was minimal. I highly recommend this place!

All was great but feeling from others that the food quality has lost some flavor! Not as busy as in the past but nice and quiet! Service was great!
