We enjoyed the whole fried fish, the big salad with endives, the lamb shank. Skip the lobster roll- not worth it. - KkaylaSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoLove the ambiance, (we could have sat there all day) the live music and food! We went for a late lunch and had tacos and saiman. My daughter loved the tacos.. Korean bbq (?), definitely some spice there, the saiman was not what I expected however my bias should not deter anyone from trying it! The texture of the noodles was lovely, I just wasn’t sure about the broth- not quite pho and not quite ramen, the herb mixture had me confused. We definitely highly recommend the sorbet ♥️. Yum. Our waiter James was amazing, super attentive and friendly, made the lunch even better! Feels like you are in Kyoto and you walk into a really good neighborhood sushi restaurant. Small and intimate space - 1 table of 4 and 7 seats at the sushi bar. The decor is clean and minimalist. The fish quality, assortment, and preparation were all outstanding! An all omakase menu with interesting sake pairings (good interesting). The hamachi shabu shabu, the Hokkaido scallop, and the snow crab were my favorites but the fish was all excellent and the ‘front row’ to watch the chef in action added to the atmosphere evening. For an authentic Japanese evening, Takumi hits the spot.More infoTakumi MauiPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese Speciality• Kaanapali•5
