Best Lunch Restaurants in New Westminster

This was my first time at The Lunch Lady. We made a reservation just over 2 weeks in advance and the only option on a Sunday evening was outdoor patio (so make sure to reserve well in advance for weekends!). The outdoor patio, they mention, is heated, and it truly was warm, covered and comfortable. We had the beef carpaccio which was good, garlic noodles, and this I would recommend, but my favorite dish was the steak luc lac (done medium rare with this burnt scallion butter that was divine). My friend had the beef noodle soup, and although the broth was great and the soup was a sizeable portion, you can get something similar in other Vietnamese restaurants. Finally, their customer service is fantastic. All in all, with the service, food and price, I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Food and service was great. Saturday has very limited brunch menu until 4pm So if your a late riser and like a brunch menu it is great. But if you want salad, appetizers or pizza don't go there till after 4;00pm on Sat

This was our third time back as we really like the whole experience. Food, service, the building itself, the history, everything was great as always.

We were on vacation from the east coast. The food was delicious! The portions are large. Excellent service. Beautiful restaurant and ambiance.
