Best Lunch Restaurants in Diss

I love this place. We had our vow renewal celebration dinner here and have been back on several dates and family dinners since then. The staff are always wonderful and warm, the building is cozy, the food is ALWAYS 10/10, the ambience is perfect and the value is great! I wanna gatekeep this place because I wanna keep it for myself but I can't- book now

We had a lovely Valentines meal at the Kings Head. The food was delicious and the chef here really majors on flavour in sauces and all the ingredients. The potato Rossi was the best I’ve ever had anywhere in the U.K., and the chicken supreme had a lovely texture and flavour as it was very good quality. The escalopes starter, the fish was very fresh and the jus they were in tasted of interesting flavours of honey and paprika. The chocolate and caramel dessert was just the right sized treat to round off the meal. The waitress was lovely and attended to our every need. If there is a criticism I would have liked to have some vegetables with the main meal. Otherwise the attention the chef pays to flavour is exceptional.

The food, service and location were great. I will definitely be returning .

We love the greyhound, the pizzas are always delicious, the staff are wonderful and theres such a lovely atmosphere. We brought family that hadn't visited the greyhound before, they loved it and cannot wait to return.

Absolutely amazing staff, and food, good to have live music, if just a little to loud, but this is of course subjective. Great value, and ambience, I will return with my family. So good for Wivenhoe to have such a venue. Thank you, please maintain your excellent standards.
