Best Lunch Restaurants in Valley Park

Unmatched table service. We eat out at very nice restaurants fairly frequently, but this was exceptional. Brian and Alex teamed up at our table and gave impeccable recommendations, preparations, and boxed up our food with style. The presentation of my husband‘s steak, hot on a serving cart, with juices ready to pour on it was stunning. We were truly impressed.

I truly enjoyed our time. Our waiter Barrington was soooo nice.

We had a reservation during Friday lunch. It was moderately busy and we were seated right away. Trish our server was great. Food was delicious. I had the special which was a prime rib grilled cheese with tomato bisque and fries. Sounds simple but it was elevated and I really enjoyed it. My wife had a Carbonara pasta I don't remember the exact name, she really enjoyed it though.

OpenTable displayed reservations available at 4:00pm and 4:30pm, but then nothing until 7:30pm. As a result we jumped on the 4:30 time for our first visit. The thing is there were only four couples in the restaurant between 4:30pm and 6:00pm. When I checked OpenTable again at 5:30pm from my seat, the 6:00 to 7:30pm slots were now available. I’m not sure why OpenTable showed no reservations available online between 4:30 and 7:30pm earlier in the day. Strange. We would have chosen a later dining time. The wines were fabulous. The tapas Brussels sprouts, stuffed mushrooms, and bacon wrapped dates were delicious. The hummus was a little bland and needed some salt to kick it up a notch. The wait staff did their jobs well, but seemed aloof and rushed in a relatively empty dining room. Also, a bit strange. Overall good, but not the excellence I expect at an upscale tapas bar. We intend to try again in the near future.
