Johnny’s Downtown, opened in 1993, is similar to the original Johnny’s Bar on Fulton Road, featuring pasta, veal and fish. The setting, a refurbished 1860’s Warehouse District building, formerly a general store, is the drinking and dining spot of locals and business people alike. Joseph Fall, the executive chef, oversees the food operations and is responsible for our crafting our signature dishes and creating daily specials. We went on a slow Monday midafternoon to celebrate our engagement! The Ikura was amazing, and the portion of crab Poke was generous and very delicious. The house salad came out lightning fast too! I would Highly recommend this place to any couple as a fun weeknight date or a special occasion. The photos don't do the ambiance justice. Can't wait to see what this place looks like in the evening!

Overall great experience, menu variety and quality was top tier . Presentation of food was outstanding but taste was a killer bland had to use salt and pepper..we were there along side I big party so our wait time on food was longer then expected but management was very nice about the matter and acknowledged this on there own and accommodated us with free dessert.. other then that service was great and the ambiance was 10/10

Everything we ordered was tasty and delicious. The decor and ambiance was delightful. The service was A+, and it was relatively quiet for a nice romantic dinner (granted, it was a Wednesday). The prices were very good for what we ordered – artisan cocktails, appetizer, entrees, and dessert – $100 for two of us.
