General Public is inspired by trying to imagine what an upscale English pub would be if it had the heart of an American brasserie (and was open 11 to 11). It’s also going to signal a little bit of steakhouse, but not too much. And finally, it will look behind itself at the Black Hoof, which you will see reflected in James Santon’s menu here and there. Great food with an incredible view. The location feels exclusive especially since it's on the 44th floor. A must visit especially if you are treating a guest from outside of Toronto

We've lived in the neighbourhood for 3 years, driven by this restaurant many, many times and only visited for the first time last night. The food, ambiance, service were all spectacular. We will definitely be returning. I'm only disappointed it took us so long to try this spot!
