- MMichaelWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was our second time in a week. The food is outstanding, as the service--very friendly, quiet, helpful, knowledgeable. The ambience is lovely. They have retained the decor of Birch and Barley, which is great. The lighting is lovely, warm and low, but bright enough to read. All in all, a great experience. Neighborhood favorite.More infoMallardPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Southern• Logan Circle•4.7

Love the ambiance and good customer service Overall very solid Christmas dinner. a bit overpriced; maybe worth $70-$100More infoOpaline Bar and BrasseriePrice: Moderate• French• Downtown•4.3
- OTOpenTable DinerWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoI had the lobster roll and truffle fries meal which was one of the best I’ve had in the city. The meal was sooooo deelish!!!! I’ve been to DH for Howard U HoCo parties but have never been for brunch. I’ll definitely be back!!! I may consider this place for my annual bday brunch.More infoDirty Habit | The Glass HousePrice: Moderate• Bar / Lounge / Bottle Service• Penn Quarter•4.3

- JJoanWashington, D.C. Area •17 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 19, 2024Yesterday evening we celebrated my daughter's 38th birthday at Elizabeth's- and now all of us are ready to go back tonight. The minute you walk in the door of Elizabeth's you feel as if you have been welcomed into a cosy and elegant historical home. We were greeted warmly by Elizabeth and the staff, all of whom are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and culinarily multi-talented. And the dinner experience is similar to being served a new piece of artwork with each course. Would I ever be able to replicate the Klamath Return, a kombu-marinated chioggia beet, caraway crisp and celery root, or the Cleopatra's Ambrosia, with sea buckthorn, pink banana sorbet and kinome leaf, or the Velvet Immortal with the saffron pickled enoki mushroom? Not in my wildest dreams. My family normally inhales their food, but this time conversation was at a minimum as we took time to appreciate each new amazing taste sensation. Our party consisted of one vegan, one vegetarian , and two omnivores, and all of us agreed Elizabeth's is the best restaurant in DC.More infoElizabeth'sPrice: Very Expensive• Vegan• Downtown•4.9
