Hamrock's Restaurant is located within the Moore-McCandlish House (built 1842) in the heart of historic Fairfax City. We've been proud to serve delicious made-to-order American dishes using fresh ingredients since our establishment in 2016. We also have a wonderful hand-selected wine list to enhance your dining experience. Approximately eighty-percent of our menu is-- or can be-- gluten-free, as we use only canola and olive oil in all of our cooking. Some of our best-selling dishes are our southern fried chicken, grilled meatloaf, and crab cakes-- all which are gluten free! Other menu favorites include our deviled eggs, firecracker shrimp, Atlantic grilled salmon, roasted pork tenderloin, and penne pasta with andouille sausage & shrimp.     The food is incredible, and the service is top notch. I couldn’t have had a better birthday dinner. I even received a birthday card with the day’s menu and a candle for the occasion, which were such nice touches. This restaurant focuses on the details. I had a wonderful time with my family.

    We've been dining here for many years, starting when they were downtown in DC. Simply wonderful experience every time. We especially love the Brasserie which is more informal but has a delightful menu. Last night the lobster thermidor was perfectly done and beautifully presented, and the tenderloin medallions also perfect. The Brasserie has a very nice selection of wines by the glass. Another great evening!
