I got there early so I could ask the hostess to please note my grand daughter was home from college and it is her birthday. She said she would inform our server….. I knew my grand daughter would choose a chocolate dessert, which she did + her Mum and I also enjoyed our desserts. GREAT disappointment when 3 desserts arrived NO candle !!!!! Of course I didn’t make a fuss , however I wanted to !! The special moment was over and I left your restaurant feeling let down. We all love coming to True Food Kitchen in Walnut Crerk CA because we love the food and I knew when I told our grand daughter that’s where we would be having lunch….. she was, as expected …. excited. Please get through to your hostesses that some requests mean a great deal and they need to follow through !!! We sat out on the outdoor patio which was nice and cozy despite the chilly weather that evening. Our server Arlene was friendly and gracious, providing the right level of attentiveness and interaction. The food was delicious as well. I love a good moules frites and the mussels were nice and plump and the fries were perfectly salted. It appeared there were other parties also celebrating birthdays the same night so if you are looking to have a good meal in a nice atmosphere, Reve Bistro is a great choice.More infoRevePrice: Very Expensive• French• Lafayette•4.9
- TTomSan Francisco Bay Area •10 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoThe Cooperage was very busy when we arrived with many waiting for tables. We were seated promptly for our reservation and the noise level was pretty high with the restaurant full and the pull-down doors closed due to weather. Service was friendly but there were gaps in attention at times. We were not in a hurry, but our entrée orders was not taken until after we had finished eating our appetizers and it took a long time for our entrees to arrive compared to tables around ours. I am sure the busy night with a full house was a factor. Food was great, appetizers tuna tartare and brussels sprouts, entrees steak frites, fried chicken, ahi sandwich, and short ribs. The group enjoyed craft cocktails, wine and draft beer. Look forward to our next visit.More infoThe Cooperage American GrillePrice: Expensive• American• Walnut Creek•4.4

Please forgive the evident bias in my review. I’ve been a proud “member” of The Casa (as it’s known by we locals) Family since 1971.More infoCasa OrindaPrice: Expensive• American• Orinda•4.8

There was easy parking in front of and next to the restaurant. So many wonderful things on the menu, we can't wait to go back and try some other menu items.More infoBurma TwoPrice: Moderate• Burmese• Walnut Creek•4.8
