Located just a stone's throw from the Hôtel de Ville and the Marais district, Le Coupe Gorge restaurant, with its antique parquet flooring, dressed stonework and red velvet banquettes, exudes the flavour of old Paris and the pleasures of fine dining. We had a wonderful dinner at Le Coupe George. The food was excellent and the service was attentive and welcoming. The upstairs dining room was cozy, and we were the only foreign patrons, which added to the ambiance. I somewhat hate to endorse it for fear that it will be overrun with tourists, but our experience deserved an honest review.
