- CCaroleBerkshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoIt was my first visit to the Green Oak we have wanted to go for a while and it did not disappoint. Such a lovely place we were greeted warmly and had a lovely table. The car park was busy it looked like there was a lot of people but inside it was spacious with plenty of room. The service was first class so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious beautifully cooked we had the fish and chips. It was my birthday and I was given complimentary sweet treat which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend a visit and we will definitely return.More infoThe Greene OakPrice: Expensive• British• Windsor•4.7
- MMarkBerkshire •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThe restaurant feels very warm and homely. This is lovely environment where you can have a stable choice such as fish and chips or something a little more extravagant. Cheese Doughnuts, Bread with Chicken butter are a must have. If you live within 10 miles then 100% you need to visit. If you live further a field, it is worth the effort, maybe plan a small trip into Windsor afterwards to see the castle.More infoThe Loch & The Tyne by Adam HandlingPrice: Expensive• British• Windsor•4.7

- AAmandaLondon •5 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 10, 2024This was a birthday lunch time treat and treat it was. I had attended here many, many years ago and it has since changed hands. The decor, music, festive decorations, log fire and overall ambience made it warm and welcoming. They were offering only the set festive menu, which worked well for us. There are several dining areas but because we had our dog, they seated us in the dog friendly area, which was tastefully decorated, warm and cosy. For starters we had the Scallops and the prawn cocktail. The Scallops were tasty and were wolfed down. The prawn cocktail was equally delicious with plenty of prawns, a lovely sauce and some heavily seeded bread with butter, delicious. For mains we both had the Turkey. Three large succulent cuts of Turkey sitting on top of really well seasoned carrots, green beans and mange tout. The roast potatoes were to die for, and plenty of them. All of this was covered in a delicious jus so we were certainly satisfied, oh and a side serving of gorgeously tasty cranberry. Alas, we had no room for pudding but we will certainly be back to sample them for sure! The host was particularly warm and welcoming and even discounted the sparkling english wine when I shared it was a birthday meal. Wonderful hospitality, fantastic food, would definitely recommend this neighbourhood gem.More infoChris Wheeler at The Crown Inn, Farnham RoyalPrice: Expensive• British• Stoke Poges•4.6
