With quality stonework and attractive sloping edges Lock 10 is one of 46 along the Royal Canal and continues to be a testament to the skill of the craftsmen involved. Our bar is adjacent to the Lock Keepers House, a post that became obsolete in 1961 when the canal was closed to traffic the previous year. From the moment we walked off the street at Fire Steakhouse we were impressed with the decor and general appearance of the building - Front od house staff were welcoming and helpful. the food was a delight and very well presented - music and atmosphere were superb ! A little expensive but this is a higher end restaurant is In the heart of Dublin.

We were a party of 7, 4 adults and 3 young boys. We had an amazing time m. The boys (who are quite fussy eaters) ate everything! The food was exceptional, would highly recommend. The waiting staff were all meticulously mannerly and checked just enough that everything was to our satisfaction.
