Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Freehold

Everything was delicious, service fantastic. We did the chef’s tasting menu for 4 and thought there was plenty of food for everyone.

Outstanding all around. Each dish was tasty and served with the right level of accompaniments that let the main part of the plate stand on its own. The steaks were cooked as they should be and seasoned just right and not over salted as has been the trend these days. The raw oysters were fresh, clean and tasty as were rhetorical other appetizers and the tuna tartar is a must try. If you partake, the drinks are a must as the bartenders know their profession and create great tasting unique drinks as well as they do the old standards. Excellent experience and tbank you to the accommodating and polite staff!

We made reservations at Rats for Christmas Eve over a month ago with the understanding that it would be their dinner menu as it was advertised on their website as “Menu for the night includes our full menu”. We were surprised that the menu was actually their lunch menu so we ended up trying to order different things to make it our “dinner.” The food was good, nothing special, but it would have been nice to know beforehand. If I knew it was only going to be the lunch menu, we would have dined somewhere else to celebrate Christmas Eve.

Have been going to this place since they opened long time ago. Always fresh, delicious and imaginative food. By far the best Indian restaurant I've visited. Consistently perfect.
