- HHeatherWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThere’s a reason this place has won awards for best Italian restaurant in Hawaii. They’ve taken simple Italian dishes and elevated them to something really special, without charging obscene prices. The Caprese salad was the most flavorful one I’ve ever had in my life — and I eat that dish A LOT! The Parmesan risotto was outstanding (in addition to being prepared tableside in a very cool way); and the “deconstructed” tiramisu was perfection. Best of all, my server, Diego, was lovely and attentive but never overbearing, which helped put me at ease as I dined alone. Do not miss the special place!More infoArancino at The KahalaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Honolulu•4.8

We were greeted by every staff member as we passed and wished happy Valentine's Day by our server. The pre fixe menu was lovely. Lobster balls and salad to start and a large choice of mains, followed by an amazing dessert. They were able to accommodate for gluten and dairy free. We chose to sit outside and loved the ocean view and sunset. We chose non-alcoholic local mules for cocktails and they were lovely. Overall it was a beautiful evening we were very thankful for.More infoOriginal Roy's, Hawaii KaiPrice: Very Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Honolulu•4.7

She liked the choices on the menu and the ocean just outside. The food, service and ambiance were their usual best. My favorite restaurant for 20 or more years and am always impressed.More infoHau TreePrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Honolulu•4.6

I wish we were seated at the rail but table was just fine. The service and food were both perfect. The new bartender had trouble making a bay breeze, kept forgetting the pineapple, but they corrected it fast and without attitudes :-) grateful. I appreciated that the music playing was Hawaiian. We come to Hawaii almost yearly and Hawaiian music is what we want to hear when having a meal. So thank you Hula Grill for a great meal and great atmosphere. Was wonderful. Oh FISH “ALL” was cooked to perfection!More infoHula Grill - WaikikiPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Waikiki•4.6

Service was excellent thanks to Brad our server and the food was awesome and delicious as always. Highly recommend the sunrise papaya with the addition of crisp bacon and the Hawaiian style Bennie with taro English muffins and pork short rib, tender and delicious. Keeps us coming back for more.More infoPlumeria Beach HousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Honolulu•4.6
