Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Kirkwood

Had the valentine prix fixe menu - was excellent and the wine pairings were well matched. The salad starter had pink lettuce, the scallops had pomegrantes in the sauce, and the black forest cake was heart shaped with cherries, emphasizing the Valentine theme. The noise level was reasonable - could talk and hear without raising our voices but we could hear other tables.

The spaghetti and meatballs were absolutely delicious, full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The halibut was good, though it was slightly overcooked. The highlight of the experience was the waitress—her professionalism and training were evident in every interaction, making the meal even more enjoyable.

Great experience. The server gave us great recommendations and went above and beyond for my girlfriend and I. The Saltimbocca was a dream and the Bolognese was superb. We will be back

It was our ten year anniversary so after ordering oysters (delicious!) and cocktails, we decided to order broiled lobster, which since they hadn’t updated the menu-they were not serving it. Okay, so we decided to go somewhere else. After explaining this to our amazing Server, O.D. He spoke to the Chef, Eddie. Eddie visited our table, apologized that the lobster was not available to be served the way we like, but he said that he would accommodate us and prepare it especially for us since it was our anniversary. He also served us a few complimentary dishes and a glass of champagne, too! The food was absolutely amazing, and we gave a generous tip to O.D in appreciation for going above and beyond. Chef’s kiss to Eddie and we will be returning.

The food at Two Urban Licks is always good and the service is friendly and prompt. We started with the chicken empanada appetizer which was delicious. My husband ordered the trout and I had the salmon. Both dishes were cooked perfectly and were delicious. We’re already talking about going back soon and bringing some friends with us!
