Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Northshore

Fantastic! We order one appetizer and three small plates. All were excellent. The lamb was the standout dish. Sous chef Louis also makes a tremendous Chocolate Tanini Brownie.

I’ve been going to Broussard’s since I was a little girl. My dad and I would come here when visiting family in New Orleans and it was our place. This was the first year I came here with my fiancé and got to tell him stories of my dad. The food has always been wonderful, the memories, delightful.

I recently held my birthday dinner in the courtyard at Vessel and it couldn't have been a better experience. Everything from the ambiance to the service to the food and drinks was perfection. It's a lovely courtyard with beautiful lighting (and a tv for those wanting to keep up with whatever major game is on, though the sound was not loud or distracting in the slightest). Our server was attentive and engaging, and kept up flawlessly with our large group. The food was delicious; we ordered an assortment of items for appetizers, entrees, and desserts (my faves being the smoked fish dip, seared scallop risotto, the filet, and the key lime pie), and everything was wonderful! While we loved sitting outside, the interior is absolutely stunning and we will definitely go back to sit inside. If you live locally or are visiting, this place is definitely worth a stop.

Quiet and intimate atmosphere and a peaceful and slow surrounding neighborhood. Everyone was friendly and insightful and the food was amazing. Lowcountry Shrimp and grits 10/10 Waffle Du Jour 8/10 (super sweet but I know some folks go for that so may be 10/10 for you!)

Excellent food and location. Venue was pleasant and quiet. Waiter was green and not well trained but he did get our food to us. He phoned it in tonight. Would highly recommend restaurant got the food but have low expectations of professional service.
