The primary and private dining rooms are located in the original first floor gathering spaces. The intimate restaurant deftly juxtaposes modern orange vinyl chairs with black and white portraits of Bridgehampton’s agrarian history, handblown glassware with delicate seasonal flowers. Featuring one-on-one service, the restaurant cozily seats 50 while offering a more relaxed atmosphere in the warm months on our private patio, which has been reconfigured to capture the beauty and peacefulness of our Inn’s garden. Chef/Owners Lisa & Terry Harwood opened Vine Street Cafe in 2003. Located on South Ferry Road, just 1.5 miles from the South Ferry. Chef Terry works with area farmers, fishermen & vineyards and features their natural bounty on his seasonal menus. We make everything in house and Lisa's desserts, ice creams and fruit crisps are no exception. Recently, we opened a small market behind the restaurant. This is where you pick up take-out orders while stocking your home pantry. Specialty catering is available along with ready fresh meals such as meatballs, chicken salad, bread, smoked ribs, BBQ Sauce and a selection of artisan pastas. Reservations are highly recommended year round.

    Bistro Ete never disappoints. Hosts Chef Arie and Liz set the tone for their friendly and attentive staff. Started off with a Cucumber Cosmo and a delicious 2014 Margaux from Bordeaux. Shared 3 appetizers, Brussel sprouts w/grilled halloumi, Truffle grilled cheese and escargot Everything was delicious and the plates were wiped clean. Entrees were Sea Bass with Truffle sauce and roasted pork loin. Finished off the meal with Chef Arie’s homemade ice cream. Bistro Ete has a loyal following both on and off season so reservations are a must. Our go to restaurant whenever out East!

    This restaurants consistency is unsurpassed. Food delicious plus great vibe and good pricing. Something that is hard to find in this community. The service was so friendly and attentive and for the value it’s one of the best restaurants of its kind. The menu is really diverse and interesting and their specials weekly are just amazing. Dining room ambience cozy and airy.

    We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Halyard. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. The food was just as impressive—each dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. We started with the tuna tartare and the calamari, which came with a delightful surprise—perfectly blistered shishito peppers that added just the right amount of heat. For our main course, the halibut was cooked to perfection, and the Brussels sprouts were crispy and full of flavor. The cheese-laced mashed potatoes were an indulgent, creamy dream. Dessert was an espresso-infused crème brûlée that was both unexpected and absolutely delicious. Halyard exceeded our expectations in every way.
