- DDavidPhiladelphia County •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe have been going to Lynnwood's for many many years and have always had wonderful meals. This last meal was disappointing for me because the ribeye sirloin steak was course and tough and not very good. My appetizers were wonderful. I had the crunchy oysters. the Caesar salad was delicious But my steak dinner and the cream spinach were blah. My wife's dinner was excellent. She had the beef tenderloin dish and a cup of cream of crab soup, which was also excellent. We certainly will be coming back, but I don't think I'm going to order sirloin or ribeye Cut of steak anymore More infoLinwoodsPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Owings Mills•4.8
- MMarkBaltimore / Maryland •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWent here for Valentine's Day and had a fantastic time! Our server (Savannah) was knowledgeable, patient, and funny. She dealt with all of our annoying questions and terrible jokes perfectly. 10/10 service (I say this as a former server myself), from guiding through dishes, punctual food delivery, and rapid table clearing. The manager (Charles) stopped by to chat and introduce himself with many tables, which is always an appreciated touch. He even came back an additional time with some samplings of their in-house prosecco and stuck around to talk shop and history if the restaurant just a pinch, which was very entertaining to hear about. The drink selection was excellent, and we enjoyed our bottle of wine as well as the craft tequila cocktail (and they have every type of Clase Azul available, a dream come true). Each item we ordered from amongst the Valentine's Day menu (well balanced menu with plenty of choices, unlike every other fixed menu I've had or served) was excellent. My grandmother's ghost is probably going to haunt me for saying this, but I think that the mushroom risotto i had was the best I've ever tasted. The quinoa + stuffed mini pepper starter was delicious, and we both cleaned our plates of our entrée (Chilean sea bass and salmon). I will say, the Valentine's Day specific decoration and music wasn't quite our taste, but I'm sure plenty of people appreciated it. I would have preferred the restaurant's usual classy atmosphere, but everything else more than made up for it. Overall, the quality of service and food easily matched the price we paid for our meal. Expect that 2 people can spend around $300 (before tip/tax) if you plan to have 4 courses and a bottle of wine with dinner + an extra drink.More infoCitronPrice: Very Expensive• American• Towson•4.7
- MMikeBaltimore / Maryland •35 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoValentine dinner, food was great, wine pairings were extremely well matched. Our server was personable and fun to interact with. Entree was a small steak and a crab cake, no one can beat John Shields when it comes to crabs. Even the sides of roast fingerling potatoes and green beans were outstanding. All in all, an extremely pleasant evening,More infoGertrude's - BaltimorePrice: Moderate• American• Charles Village•4.6
- MMikeBaltimore / Maryland •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThe fish tacos were perfectly crispy, with fresh toppings and a delicious sauce that brought everything together. The birria tacos were incredibly flavorful—tender, juicy, and packed with rich, savory goodness. Both were absolutely amazing, and I’d come back just for them!More infoLa Food MarketaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Pikesville•4.8
- PPBaltimore / Maryland •13 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe are repeat visitors to True Chesapeake, their oysters are incredible. But this meal was our best yet. Our server was excellent, very professional and efficient. Drinks and food items were delicious, and well-paced. We never felt rushed or delayed. An unexpected touch was a table side visit from the owner who stopped by to check on our experience. When he learned that our visit had special meaning for us (41st anniversary of our engagement), he learned what we liked and brought us a bourbon tasting! As we were just ordinary customers, this personal touch that made our great experience extraordinary. Why patronize a chain restaurant or establishment where you are just a number when you can have a great meal and also feel as though you truly matter? TC, please keep up the good work - you are a local gem!More infoTrue ChesapeakePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Hampden•4.7
