Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Reno

A party of four enjoyed a fabulous Christmas Dinner 2024. We were greeted with a smile, taken to our table and immediately had menus, water, and drinks. The server was amazing. She took care of our every need. She checked on us several times and made sure we had everything we needed and it was a busy night. The busser was always there picking up dishes and glasses as we finished. The food was excellent, service marvelous and the ambience was great! Great place to dine and we will be back soon.

Gar Woods was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We sat at a window overlooking the lake with a beautiful Christmas tree nearby. Our food was delicious and we had very good cocktails with a large list to choose from. They have a very good food menu to choose from-from burgers and sandwiches to prime rib and fish. Our server was very sweet and kind but she must have had a lot of tables because we waited long stretches to get her attention to get more drinks and dessert. But it was Christmas and the place was packed. We will definitely go back again.

My wife & I go to Edgewood every Christmas morning for breakfast. They have an amazing eggs Benedict with lump crab along with a delicious watermelon & carrot juice infusion. I just wish that they served local Bare Roots Coffee . The views are also beautiful to look out at Lake Tahoe. The service is always very genuine & attentive with smiles . Love the the bistro . Everything was very good. The only thing was the tomahawk pork chop was pretty fatty. Other than that, the soup was outstanding, the shrimp was outstanding, and the schnitzel was outstanding.

Even though we couldn’t make our original reservation time on Christmas Eve because of flight was delayed, they did a great job of getting us in anyways so we could enjoy our evening. Great food, decent wine pours & the meatball appetizer was delicious and good for a table of 4. :)
