- FFranciscovipCaribbean •9 reviews5.0Dined todayWe celebrated our 25th anniversary at Gibson Italia, and the experience exceeded all expectations. From the warm welcome to the impeccable service, every detail was perfect. The food was outstanding—both the pasta and steak were flavorful and beautifully presented. The dessert was also absolutely delicious, the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Our server, Destiny, deserves a special mention. Her service was timely, friendly, and every recommendation she made was spot on. Her name couldn’t have been more fitting, as it truly felt like it was meant to be that she took care of every detail of our experience. Our table had a breathtaking view of the Chicago River and skyline, the perfect backdrop for such a significant celebration. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Gibson Italia team for going above and beyond to make our evening extraordinary. You turned a milestone anniversary into a memory we will cherish forever. We can’t wait to return!More infoGibsons ItaliaPrice: Expensive• Italian• River North (Chicago)•4.8

The ambiance was also beautiful, creating a lovely atmosphere for dining. However, I think it would benefit more if it were just reservations-only. It’s a small space, and it was overly crowded and quite loud, which took away from the otherwise great experience. With fewer walk-ins, it could be even more enjoyable for guests.More infoRL RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.9

We had the Pig Face, String Beans, Goat Belly, and Steak. The dishes all exploded with flavors. The balance of seasonings, use of citrus, vinegar and other elements of the dishes played well and makes the culinary experience here amazing. The cocktails were yummy as well. The Peach-Te-quilla was light and refreshing. The Spicy Fat Boy had a ton of flavor. To finish the night, we had the Toffee Pumpkin cake and a neat pour of the Pappy Family Reserve. The Pappy was a treat and made a great night even more special! Thanks to Stephanie and all the team at the Goat. You are all AMAZING!More infoGirl & the GoatPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• West Loop•4.8
- JJohn and JenvipChicago / Illinois •142 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoGibsons is one of my favorite restaurants in the city! My recent visit was nothing short of exceptional. I started with an Old Fashioned, which was perfectly crafted. My wife and I shared a loaded wedge salad, a New York Strip, and a double baked potato – all of which were delicious and cooked to perfection. For dessert, we indulged in a cookie with ice cream, paired with a glass of 20-year Tawny. The evening was made even more special by the fantastic piano player, who added a wonderful ambiance to our dining experience. Highly recommend!More infoGibsons Bar & Steakhouse - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.7
- PPennyCharlotte •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoMy husband and I have moved to the Asheville, NC area and only come back to the Chicago area once a year to see family. We have been missing Quartino, especially because they can accommodate my lactose intolerance. This year, we decided that we had to go to downtown Chicago just so we could go the Quartino and Eataly. It was even worth the horrible traffic getting downtown!More infoQuartino - ChicagoPrice: Moderate• Italian• River North (Chicago)•4.5
