- MMaxineVIPNew York City •53 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoToday the food was, as always, delicious. I had the frisée salad and a side of fries. My friend had mussels with frites. But I want to write about the great staff. EVERY person I encountered - from the maitres’d to our waiter to the support staff - was bright and cheerful and extraordinarily helpful. How can you not love a neighborhood restaurant like Cafe Luxembourg?More infoCafe LuxembourgPrice: Expensive• French American• Upper West Side•4.8

- KKimVIPNew York City •16 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoDined here last night with my best friend of over 40 years. We wanted something charming and festive for the holidays, with good food and a lovely ambience. We were extremely pleased and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, the drinks tasty, the service above and beyond, (attentive and thoughtful, yet not intrusive), and the atmosphere glittering and perfect for the season. While it was packed, it still didn’t feel cramped, (we had plenty of room around us), and we could easily talk while all around us engaged in their happy times, too. We had the Tuna tartare appetizer, (REALLY good!) and the Havenly chicken, which was extremely delicious. I’d recommend both! All in all, a wonderful night and we will absolutely come back! - PPatriciaNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoThere were 10 of us & we had made reservations at 5 pm as we had 7 pm theater tickets. Our table was ready for us upon arrival & our waiter was friendly & on point from start to finish. Service was great without feeling rushed & his wine suggestion was perfect. The portions are huge so we started with the calamari & Caesar salad which was plenty for all of us & both very good. We chose 4 dishes, Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Scaloppine, Rigatoni & Broccoli, & Penne alla Vodka & all were delicious. We all commnted that the Penne was the best we’d had as the sauce was not too heavy & perfectly spiced. Although we could have only ordered 3 dishes, we all enjoyed the variety of the 4 choices. We finished off with cappuccinos for the table & made it to the theater with 15 minutes to spare. We couldn’t have picked a better restaurant & the bonus was it was very reasonable. Any restaurant worth eating at is expensive these days. Expect $30 salads. lolMore infoZou Zou'sPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Hell's Kitchen•4.6
