Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Mauldin

This place never disappoints. Today I tried a special of the day chicken poblano sandwich which was off the charts. Like a 7 year old I got tater tots and they were perfect. I come here weekly because of the broad menu and everything I’ve tried was very good. Great atmosphere, beautiful restaurant, great bar and superb service.

I had a wonderful experience at this beautiful restaurant, especially during our Valentine's Day dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, but I faced an unexpected challenge when I had a panic attack during our meal wasn’t because of the restaurant just my emotions. But I reached out to my server, who promptly brought over the managers. They were incredibly kind and caring, offering support and comfort throughout my episode. Their genuine compassion made a difficult moment much easier to handle. I truly appreciate their kindness and will definitely return to this lovely establishment. We also ordered the sirloin literally tasted AMAZING!!

My husband and I decided to share a few small plates and sides for dinner. We were actually intrigued more by those on the menu rather than the entree selection. Rosemary Beignets were incredible. We also enjoyed the lamb kabobs, potstickers and Brussel sprouts. We ordered the tuna tartare as well and that is always something we enjoy however out of everything we ordered, that was our least favorite. Just not enough flavor. Beverages and service were wonderful as well. We will return and would choose to order small plates and share again.

Our server Cary was helpful, professional and friendly in selecting both food and beverages. The beet burrata salad was outstanding. The pheasant special was delicious and included wonderful vegetables. We shared a crab cake which was light and somewhat creamy in texture. Excellent choice. My husband's osso buco tasted delicious but was slightly tough, hence the four star food rating. Cary's suggestion for a pinot noir was an ideal accompaniment for our meal. Will definitely return next time we're in Greenville.

After receiving a gift card from our kids we went to Sassafras last night, for dinner, and it did not disappoint!! My husband had the ribeye and said it was the best steak he ever had. I had the stuffed fried chicken with brussel spouts, it was delicious!! Our server,Taylor was exceptional!! Checked in with us several times to make sure we were good with everything. Management also checked up on our dining experience. Great atmosphere, great staff, would definitely give it 5 stars! We will be back.
