Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Wilmington

What I love about Iron Hill is the consistency among food, beer, and service from location to location. This was our first visit to the Wilmington site, and it was as good as the locations we've enjoyed in Media, Ardmore, and Center City. Haley was our excellent bartender tonight. As mentioned, food and beer are always good, but the one thing that keeps bringing us back is the friendly and efficient service from the bar staff. We appreciate the excellent work and consistently positive attitudes of everyone we've encountered.

We had great food, wine and service. The ambience was great, it was quiet, warm and cozy.

Delicious food! Presented as a work of art. Amy, our server, was efficient yet so kind. A bit pricey but understandable because of excellent presentation, service and ambiance. Will definitely go back!

Piccolina Toscana has been a favorite restaurant of mine since they first opened decades ago. Food is consistently good, new items often appear on the menu and the preparations are always flavorful and interesting. When newcomers move to or visit Wilmington and ask for a restaurant recommendation, I always refer them to Piccolina Toscana because I know they will have a memorable experience. Pasta's are phenomenal, thin crust pizzas are savory and delicious, fish dishes are cooked to perfection and side dishes are always interesting Dan Butler, owner and chef, takes pride in his restaurant and knows what his customers like. He has great take out menus, does catering, and tonight in honor of an Italian Christmas tradition, he included a pre-fixe "Feast of of the Seven Fishes' to his regular menu which is what I ordered. From the tuna tartar to the cod in lemon and the house made fettuccini with spinach, each bite was bursting with flavor. Thank you Dan Butler!! You always get it right!!
