Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in York Harbor

One of the most carefully curated wine lists within the area. There’s a great mix of classical appellations and producers, along with, highlights of new talent and fresh styles of vinification. A lot of credit to Scott, whose affability and knowledge can always be counted on. Ledger is the perfect pairing for a wine afficanado of any standing. Food-wise, I’m always a fan of the Tuna Tartare and the Duck. I also highly recommend whatever the seasonal desert is.

We went here first time years ago to get a drink while waiting for friends. Lively bar and GREAT beer selection. We wanted to stay but our friends had reservations for us at another place - and that place was not great. So on our next visit we wanted to try this place. Derek our server was super nice and knowledgeable. I asked for his recommendations as I had been on a streak of not asking and ordering something I was disappointed in. We started with his recommendation of crudo and it was fantastic. I normal order an app that is way too big and ruin my main meal. Then I got the Hake and my wife got the salmon. We got a side of shoestrings. All were excellent. If I’m being a Chopped judge I think a touch of acid would have made the Hake other worldly. Super lively great service - place was PACKED. Highly recommended

We have been for Easter brunch and drinks, but, wanted to go back to try a steak dinner. The space is nice and the staff are pleasant, but, our steaks had sat for quite some time before coming to us. Long enough that my butter didn’t melt on the steak and my mushrooms had started to dry up. We will go again in hopes that this was an off night. If the food had been hot I’m sure it would have been entirely different.

We’ve been dining here for 3 years now. Something was off the mark this time. Don’t get me wrong the service was incredible and the atmosphere was top notch as usual. The food was lacking this time. It was good but it was lacking the extravagant flavors we’ve grown accustomed to when we dine here.

Wonderful, friendly service in an extremely festive and Christmassy decor. The food was delicious and fresh as well. I very rarely order fish and chips, and The Burleigh did not disappoint. The beet salad was delicious as well. Overall, this was a perfect Christmas Eve dinner.
