Best Pre-Theater Restaurants in Highlands

The decor of this restaurant is very sweet and pleasing, made to look like a real backyard. It's cozy. Our server was very friendly and got all of our orders correctly and timely. If you're an iced tea lover, don't get theirs. It's not "real" - it's fountain iced tea and tastes nothing like iced tea should taste. Their prices are competitive but still high, as all others are.

Wonderful lunch with my friend here. Not rushed at all. Great service. Delicious food! Salads, pasta, seafood and wine. Decorated for Christmas in the first floor dining room across from smaller bar. Delightful ambiance! Highly recommend!

We fell upon Saffron having walked by it last week and the smells coming from the restaurant were incredible! We went in not knowing what to expect and were so positively surprised! From the creative menu(burrata chaat is to die for!) to the beautifully appointed tabletop, the attention to detail was in every aspect of the restaurant. The owners came over to the table and were terrific as well. This is a MUST TRY!

Menu was innovative and delicious! Service top notch. Only objection was that the kimchi with the tuna was way too spicy hot! We've had kimchi before, but this was something to not touch, or you would not be able to taste the tuna. Our waitress, Janice, had warned us ahead of time, but having had kimchi before, there was no concern. But this kimchi was unbearable! Janice was an outstanding waitress, answering questions and very attentive throughout the meal. She stated she would give the chef our feedback, and we trust that she did. All other dishes were fantastic!

Celebrated birthday there. Excellent service and food and a Happy Birthday from the staff.
