In addition to the pop-up we ordered two vegetable dishes from the Proxi menu. The tempura elotes is an absolute must and for a refreshing and flavorful dish, the fennel apple chaat is your dish. We sat at the chef’s counter which I highly recommend for a chance to watch the action.More infoProxiPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• West Loop•4.6

It felt very luxurious while still being inviting and comfortable. The staff was immediately friendly and attentive at the door, and that service continued the 2+ hours I was here. Isaiah, our server, had great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious (we split fries to start and then got salads— I recommend trying the steak cobb salad and subbing in chicken!), but my real favorite was the iced caramel latte. I will definitely be returning for another brunch with friends or a business lunch!More infoRoanokePrice: Moderate• American• Downtown / Loop•4.4

The food came out way too fast. At one point they delivered three dishes at the same time. One was hot, another had a foam… so both required timely consumption. If I am paying for an expensive tasting menu, time the food delivery. Dishes were mostly on the saltier side, which made us thirsty, but our water glasses remained empty many times despite otherwise good service.More infoBazaar Meat ChicagoPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• River North (Chicago)•4.8

Be aware that the tables are setup family style so you will be sitting with other guests, but it adds a bit to the experience if you are ok with being socialMore infoFrontierPrice: Expensive• American• West Town•4.5
