Johnny’s Downtown, opened in 1993, is similar to the original Johnny’s Bar on Fulton Road, featuring pasta, veal and fish. The setting, a refurbished 1860’s Warehouse District building, formerly a general store, is the drinking and dining spot of locals and business people alike. Joseph Fall, the executive chef, oversees the food operations and is responsible for our crafting our signature dishes and creating daily specials. There are several wines by the glass to choose from and the wine list has nabbed an Award of Excellence from the Wine Spectator.     We took our granddaughter there for her birthday and Christmas get together. Our waiter was excellent ! The food was excellent! We had the meatballs, chopped salad, salmon, chicken parm, and pesto genovese! The caramalized cheesecake for dessert was wonderful! Wonderful experience !

    Christopher took care of us really well. Despite being arguably one of the best steak stops in Cleveland? We went for the seafood tower. Mac n cheese side and a chicken spring roll app. Food was incredible, everyone was attentive and the ambiance was superb. Honourable mention: the bananas foster desert is table made and done so beautifully. 10/10

    Everything was very nice. We were a bit disappointed that a ninety one year old could not get a senior discount. Additionally, we were told by some friends that if it was someone's birthday, we should make your staff aware of that. And when we told them that christmas day was also my sister's sixty fifth birthday that didn't seem to drive any special attention or discount either. The food and the staff were wonderful
