- SShannonWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe loved that the special Thanksgiving menu offered a variety of options (turkey 3 ways, salmon, gnocchi…) and the starters were substantial & had great variety. The service was attentive & “cool”. No big upsell, but we had a wide scope of options. The noise level was comfortable on a holiday. A nice balance of family-friendly & adult dining. Huge fan. We had 3 college-aged guests & 2 adults over 50. High priority was dessert (10/10) and menu variety of options. Win win. Easy on-street parking. Courteous service.More infoThe Smith – Penn Quarter, Washington, D.CPrice: Expensive• American• Penn Quarter•4.5

Even though there were many open tables we were seated right next to another table that was very close. We had to move our tables over a bit to give some place next to the couple next to us. Felt very crampedMore infoSuccotash PRIMEPrice: Moderate• American• Penn Quarter•4.6
- DDavidvipToronto / Ontario •31 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoEnjoyed our first visit and we’d like to go again someday. We concentrated on sausages this time and want to do schnitzel the next time. The sausages with red cabbage and “German mac and cheese” worked for us, though in hindsight might have substituted potatoes, and could have used a lot more mustard from the get go instead of needing to ask for it. Definitely would order more potato pancakes. House beer was excellent accompaniment.More infoCafe BerlinPrice: Moderate• German• Capitol Hill•4.7

Extremely well prepared and beautifully presented, the tapas dishes were fresh and provided exotic flavor combos. The dishes tend to be fairly heavy despite the small plate size because many of the dishes are fried and my only wish is that there were more variety of veggies available.More infoCranesPrice: Expensive• Spanish• Penn Quarter•4.7
