Best Restaurants with Private Rooms in Winterthur

Dinner at White Dog Cafe Glen Mills tonight was AWESOME! We had two family friends with us, who are husband and wife, and have had been going through a rough time after the loss of their son, so this was a good escape for them. Anthony was our waiter, he was fun to talk with as always! For drinks, Mom had water, Dad and I had soda, and our friends had Cokes, one diet and one regular with lemon. For appetizers, Mom and Dad ordered the Squash Bisque, with roasted pumpkin seeds and chilli oil: they really enjoyed it as always! The wife friend and I ordered the French Onion Soup, which was served with sourdough bread, Swiss, and provolone cheeses. It was yummy! For the main course, Dad ordered the Koch Farms Hot Turkey Sandwich, which had whole roasted turkey, cranberry-orange chutney, and herb turkey gravy, served on white bread, with a side of plain fries. It was like Thanksgiving dinner in a sandwich! He liked it! I ordered the White Dog Double Cheddar Burger, with just cheese and grilled red onions, and without the Green Meadow Farm Smoked Bacon Mayo, bibb lettuce and tomato, served on a brioche bun with a side of fries. We also ordered a side of the Roasted Brussels Sprouts, which were served with Pennsylvania maple dressing and bacon. They were so delicious, I took the rest home! The husband friend got the burger with everything. and a side of fries. The wife friend got the same burger but without the brioche bun, and a side of fries. Mom ordered the Vegan Cheese Burger, her favorite! It had double smashed patties, vegan cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, adobo steak sauce, romaine lettuce, and mushroom "bacon," all served on a sweet potato bun with a side of fries. She enjoyed it! dessert, Dad ordered two scoops of vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup, and a cookie on top. Our friends and I ordered the Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée, served with a shortbread cookie on top. The new manager, Dan, was very friendly. Thanks for dinner! See you again soon!

My father and I came back last Saturday night for another father-daughter dinner date night. Lilly was our waitress, she was very sweet. For drinks, Dad and I each had soda. For an appetizer, we ordered the Pan-Fried Pork Dumplings served in a light chili sauce drizzle. They are always our favorite, and they disappeared in seconds! For the main course, I ordered my favorite, the Beef With Broccoli, which had beef, ginger-garlic aromatics, green onions, and steamed broccoli, served in a soy sauce over white rice, with extra white rice on the side. It was yummy, as always! Dad ordered the Sesame Chicken, another favorite of ours. It had chicken, bell peppers, onions, broccoli, and it was served in sesame sauce and sesame seeds on top, with white rice. It was so good, Dad ate the whole thing! For dessert, we ordered the Great Wall Of Chocolate, our favorite chocolate cake! It has six layers of chocolate cake, chocolate frosting, and semi-sweet chocolate chips. It is a HUGE slice of cake, so make sure you share! Victor, the general manager, was very nice, and he made sure that everything was okay, and an assistant manager, also came by to our table to clean it before we sat down to have our meal. Thank you P.F. Chang's for another excellent meal! We'll be back again soon!

This a must try in West Chester! We had the scallop appetizer with spinach- incredible! Chicken parm, penne ala vodka and penne with meat balls we excellent! It is a bit pricy for the appetizers but we did have seafood.

We knew Christmas Day dinner at Sullivan’s Steakhouse would be jamming as they were the only fine dining establishment around open all day. When we arrived at 1PM it was already 3/4s full. We were seated in the elevated section in the back where the private room is located although everything was open to accommodate all their guests. Malik was our head server and did an outstanding job in a stressed situation due to the large crowd with service assistance from Hunter and Brian. The old fashioned prepared by CJ was outstanding. We each had a shrimp cocktail (disappointing as these were NOT fine steakhouse quality - these were wet and long in the tooth), split a tasty Caesar salad. For our main course, we split a filet mignon on the bone, twin lobster tails, mashed potatoes (iced cold upon arrival & eventually removed from bill) and asparagus. Overall, a delightful meal. For a major holiday, they did a great job handling everything. We enjoyed the experience very much and will be back.

Firebirds has become our Christmas Eve family tradition and we always have a good experience. Service, food, ambiance is outstanding. Menu has something for everyone. My only minor complaint is the bottled beer is never that cold and the selections on tap are limited.
