- CChrisWashington, D.C. Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy husband were at Bistro L'Hermitage for Christmas dinner and, as always, everything was absolutely impeccable. The prix fixe menu had quite a few choices for each course, and, also as always, the food was absolutely superb. And then there is the amazing staff. Everyone, and I mean absolutely everyone, worked as an incredible team. From the hostess to each of the waitstaff, you could see each of them constantly scanning the room, promptly removing empty/finished plates, refilling glasses and bread baskets (and oh, that bread!) so that no one in the room needed to flag down a server. The place was packed when we arrived, and yet we only had to wait a few minutes until we were seated. The timing between courses was perfect and as I mentioned earlier, the food was superb. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention that, being sensitive to loud restaurants, both my husband and I appreciate that even when completely full, this place remains quite quiet. In short, this is one of my and my husband's favorite local restaurants and love to come here for special occasions - birthdays, Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas - or when we feel like being a little indulgent. I don't think it's possible to have a disappointing meal at Bistro L'Hermitage and highly recommend a visit.More infoBistro L'HermitagePrice: Expensive• French• Woodbridge•4.9
- VVijayWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoIt was an exceptional overall experience. It was amazing not only restaurant was open, but they served special festive menu for Christmas Eve! The food was delicious, and manager himself made a Tableside Torched Apple Manhattan. I only feel the courses were rushed and there should have been sometime between each course to enjoy and savor dishes. Especially, dessert was brought while we had not finished the main course.More infoChart House Restaurant - AlexandriaPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Alexandria•4.2
- SstanChicago / Illinois •18 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe Christmas Eve dinner is always a hit, but this they seemed to somehow take it up a notch. If they didn't have a seasonal, changing menu, I'd plead for that halibut to be a permanent fixture on the menu. Great service from the host, the bartenders, the server, the runners...Bastille is still nailing it. Oh, and special props to the bartenders. They are real pros who obviously take pride in their craft and not just absent-mindedly throwing ingredients together.More infoBastillePrice: Expensive• French• Alexandria•4.7
- HHarrisonDallas - Fort Worth •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoLandini is a fave of ours. The lower King Street location plus the old world ambience make it a charming experience. For the best bargain in Old Town go for lunch and order a $15 panini. Accompanied by a terrific side of potato salad plus an arugula salad - and preceded with bread and olive oil - you’ll leave neither hungry nor poor!More infoLandini BrothersPrice: Expensive• Italian• Alexandria•4.6
