Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Goose Island

Love it, and I would most definitely go back. The food was great , and drinks on point our server was so nice and friendly, and the manager made sure everything was running smooth for our visit,

Food, server, and ambiance were wonderful. Despite several prior reviews noting how vegan friendly Lyra is, that was not our experience on a Friday night: the vegan in our group was told the only options that could be made vegan were a salad and a couple of the sides.

Service was great. They got us in early when we arrive too early before our reservation. Food was outstanding. We would go back again.  love the vibe of this restaurant.

The food and vibes were great! Our waitress, Casey, was amazing. Only thing that was really annoying was their obvious urge to turn tables over. In a matter of minutes, we had 4-5 separate people try to take our food that we were clearly still eating (literally said “no thank you, we’re still working on that” while we were mid-chew). The same thing happened with our drinks. We had a bottle of champagne in an ice bag that we repeatedly had people take out of the bag to check how much was remaining. Other than feeling rushed, this place was awesome.

We went with friends who were visiting the city. Had the brunch menu and was not disappointed. The restaurant was not crowded, we had a table on the outdoor enclosed space. I will say it was a little bit drafty and with current temperatures was a little cold. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.
