Best Restaurants for Birthdays in East Finchley

As it was a week night the restaurant was not very busy and we enjoyed a relaxed experience in a cozy atmosphere. The staff looking after our table was professional and available. We celebrated a birthday and they made sure we had a nice treat. The menu is efficient and allow a real experience for the meet lover but alternatives are available too. Unfortunately the wine we selected from the menu was not available.

It was our wedding anniversary. We booked in advance which you must as it do gets very busy. We were in the Paddington area an hour before our 8.45 booking so we told them as we passed and they did call us as soon as a table was free. Which was a nice gesture from them. Then we were also given a glass of bubbly each and we felt very special. One of the other guests also bought us a drink as he’d noticed the fuss and it was just wonderful. We were very well taken care of by 2 people in particular. Alfredo and Fabrizio were brilliant, attentive and so friendly. The food was also spectacular and all our dishes were amazing. Thank you so much for a beautiful evening. X

Always prompt polite and great food with a good atmosphere

From the moment we arrived until the last sip of tea, this was an excellent experience. The food was delicious and the staff were incredible friendly and knowledgable. The waitstaff went the extra mile to ensure we had a lovely experience. Special mention to Anth who's attention to detail and enthusiasm were incredible and took our experience to the next level. I will definitely be back!

Traveling solo I wanted a tasty Christmas dinner in a casual cozy restaurant. Bennie’s delivered on all fronts. The small restaurant was busy but not overly packed. I truly appreciate the staff who came into work on Christmas Day evening and provide a delicious meal and friendly service to their diners. I chose the 3 course dinner and asked to substitute sparking water for the champagne which they did with no fuss. The Chicken Pate was served with a wonderful fresh bread. It was savory and the raspberries provided just the right touch of tart and sweet. The Duck Breast was flavorful and the cranberry sauce again provided a nice touch to cut through the richness of the meat. Rounding out the meal I chose the Chocolate Mousse which was delicious. I’ll definitely return next time I’m staying in the area.
