Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Rancho Santa Fe

Varied menu with many options. Gluten free options as well. Food tasty and prepared well. Service was very good. Outside tables are nicely spaced and comfortable. Heaters worked well. Unfortunately every table is by a speaker and the manager was willing to reduce the volume a little and that was barely tolerable. For this reason I will only do take out in the future. The noise level of the music made it very difficult to comfortably talk and fully relax. Who enjoys this level of music while dining?!

We were two couples. We had a great table. We all enjoyed adult beverages, appetizers, entrees and desert. The food was delicious. Our waiter and support staff couldn’t have been better. A very upscale dining experience. A special evening out, for sure.

We usually sit on the patio, which we absolutely love, but this time we decided to sit inside for a change. It was just as charming and cozy, offering a wonderful ambiance. We brought friends along this time, and they were equally impressed. One of the highlights of this bistro is its specials—they’re not just good; they’re exceptional! In fact, we’ve found that the specials often outshine the regular menu, which is saying a lot. The lamb special was cooked to perfection, and the black cod was absolutely divine. To top it all off, the service was impeccable, as always. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making your dining experience memorable. Rancho Santa Fe Bistro continues to be one of our go-to spots for a perfect meal. Highly recommend!

The attention to detail in both the decor and service is impeccable, making it perfect for a romantic evening or a celebratory meal. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the service. Rob, our server, went above and beyond to ensure every moment was flawless. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made us feel like honored guests. He was knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings, offering fantastic recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. As for the food—simply exquisite. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The seasonal ingredients were clearly of the highest quality, and the chef’s creativity shone through in every bite. From the appetizers to the decadent dessert, each course was a masterpiece. Mille Fleurs offers not just a meal, but a memorable experience. With outstanding service (thank you, Rob!) and extraordinary cuisine, this is a restaurant I can’t recommend highly enough. We’re already planning our next visit!

Food was delicious as always. This time I tried the filet and grilled romaine salad. It was perfection and I’d definitely order it again! The others in our group enjoyed their choices as well. Service was fantastic!! I believe our server was Jordan (I’m awful with names) and she was simply excellent. Ambience is wonderful as well!
