- MMarissaPittsburgh / Western PA •8 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe enjoyed our visit to The Melting Pot, which we usually do! The only thing we didn’t love is that we were there for a birthday, which we noted in our reservation and told the gentleman who took us to our table. But, we still got a “Happy Valentine’s Day” plate. That was a little awkward since I was with my brother haha. But it’s fine, we loved the food!More infoThe Melting Pot - PittsburghPrice: Expensive• Fondue• Downtown•4.7

Everything from the ambiance, service, and food was impeccable! Check in and valet were seamless. Sitting on the swings waiting to be called to our table was a total vibe! We were seated below the bar right at the entrance. At first I had really wished we were upstairs but the food and ambiance made me forget right away! We started with the bread board appetizer which was delivered by one of the managers, Shakur. This impressed me because he was interacting with the guests and you could tell he wanted to make sure our experience was satisfactory! The breads were delicious and the spreads were perfect compliments! I had the haddock and my husband had the lobster mac and cheese. We were expecting small portions for the fine dining price—we were WRONG! We were shocked at how much food arrived and we had to box up a big portion of everything (appetizer, meals, dessert) that we ordered. To finish, we had to order the Pittsburgh cookie table! Were the cookies the best cookies we’ve ever had? No. Am I still glad we ordered it? Absolutely! I especially liked the heart shaped cookies. They were delicious! I must try brunch next!More infoRitual HousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.7

We decided to go early to beat the crowd but still seemed to have a long wait to get drinks and our order taken. We were there for 2 hours. Food was really good. Our Filets were over salted so we ended up boxing them up and brining home.More infoBenihana - Pittsburgh, PAPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Downtown•3.8

The manager and kitchen manager stopped at our table to ask about the meal. Told both we were extremely happy with the meal and preparation. Ad a chance to let the Chef know we were happy with the steak. Definitely be back as one of our favorite restaurants.More infoFirebirds Wood Fired Grill - South FayettePrice: Moderate• American• Bridgeville•4.6
