Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Valley Ford

Here for my wife's birthday. The comfort food was exactly what we needed (although "needing" onion rings is probably not a thing). Had a half bottle of Duckhorn Sauvignon, crab cakes, ahi, the "needed" onion rings and 2 great desserts, one with a candle.

Orlando was a spectacular waiter! By far one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a long time.

The food, service, and atmosphere was perfect. If you find yourself looking for a great meal, this is the place. The service was outstanding. Everyone seemed so easy going and just kind. The food was amazing from start to finish. We had the bread (OMG), pork chops (so flavorful) and dessert was insanely good. I had searched all over the area (Glen Ellen, Sonoma, and Napa) and choose to dine at the Mill and so thankful I did. Did I mention the drinks were also fantastic? You can also make adjustments to the menu to accommodate your personal tastes.

The bolognese needed more meat sauce for the dish to make a real statement, but the codi burger was definitely satisfying.

Everything about The Depot was wonderful!! We were seated immediately for our 5:30 reservation, and our server was very attentive from the beginning. From our drink order through the appetizer and finally the main courses, our server was very attentive and personable. The timing of courses couldn’t have been better, we were able to visit amongst ourselves and the items presentation was seamless and quick. The quality of the appetizer (calamari) and entrees was excellent! I can’t say enough good things about our experience at The Depot in Sonoma! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! 5 Stars!!
