- SsamVancouver / British Columbia •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoMy boyfriend and I visited Sabor for our anniversary dinner and had an unbelievable experience. Not only did every employee acknowledge our special day, the restaurant provided us with a card at our table congratulating us. Our server Kim was so knowledgeable in the restaurant, preferred dishes and the wine list. Additionally, as I am celiac, their kitchen was so accommodating. Almost anything on the menu can be adjusted to be gluten free or naturally comes gluten free. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant for any event, and especially special occasions. The atmosphere was comfortable and quaint and the servers are very attentive but not overwhelming. The food portions are massive, as a party of 2, we definitely had left overs from our 2 main courses we shared. We will definitely be back for another dinner in the future.More infoSabor RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Edmonton•4.8

Service was good, staff were good. Old location has a better atmosphere.More infoVon's Steakhouse & Oyster BarPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Edmonton•4.3
- DDavidEdmonton / Northern Alberta •3 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoAs always, the service was outstanding. You have excellent waiters and other staff. My wife's Prime Rib was not the greatest. It was good, she said, but it rapidly lost its heat and had lot of fat and grizzle on it. She generally orders the steak and she will again next time we are there. The mushroom soup and my pasta dish were truly outstanding. Delcious. I think your prices have gone up, and what you charge for a 5 oz glass of wine is simply ridiculous. My wife passed on wine, given what you are charging for it. What really compromised the visit for me was the ridiculous "elevator music" that is played in the background. This is not the first time I have complained about this, and for one of Edmonton's finest ,classiest hotel restaurants to play muzak throughout an expensive meal really detracts from the overall experience. Can you not do better?? Some light classical? Even some "smoky jazz", with the volume turned down? Another thing. I realize business is business, and money talks. But it there no way you can implement an even basic dress code? ( i.e. no ball caps or toques while dining). While the days when I would wear a jacket and tie to your restaurant might be behind me I found that sitting near patrons who would look more in place at a truck stop did make the evening's experience less than stellar. Little things, I guess, and half the world is starving. But you asked.......More infoHarvest Room - Fairmont Hotel MacdonaldPrice: Moderate• Unspecified• Edmonton•4.4
- MMary JaneToronto / Ontario •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 1, 2025We enjoyed the New Year’s Day Brunch at La Ronde. Kevin, our server, was attentive and filled our glasses with lots of juice, water and coffee throughout our meal. The server at the Omelette Station was kind and I enjoyed a nice brief conversation with him while my omelette was being made. The people at reception and coat check were great, too. It has been several years since we dined at La Ronde and will need to come back soon for more good meals and views.More infoLa Ronde - Chateau LacombePrice: Expensive• Canadian• Edmonton•4.6
