The Broken Bit is... A classic American Cowboy steakhouse with a unique dining experience that combines contemporary American Cuisine with a Western Flare. The Broken Bit is located in Quartz Hill, a small community that takes pride in its country western heritage and lends itself to cowboys and cowgirls riding horses down the streets. The Broken Bit uses only premium aged USDA All Natural Black Angus Steaks, free of Hormones and Antibiotics. Our Steaks are hand cut and seasoned with our Broken Bit Steak Spice then grilled over oak slowly searing the meat in its own juices while adding a mild smoke flavor. We also offer a wide selection of other items such as: Fresh Seafood, Chicken and Lamb Chops. We take pride in serving exceptional food and highly sought after small batch Whiskey with unrivaled western hospitality. In fact, we make it our mission at the Broken Bit to serve you with the best of everything we have to offer.

William Stevenson was our waiter—honestly, he made the whole experience so much better. He’s one of those people who’s just naturally good at what they do. Super warm, easy to talk to, and you could tell he actually cared about making sure we had a great time. He gave thoughtful recommendations without feeling pushy and checked in at just the right times. It felt more like being hosted by a friend than just “getting served.” If you’re lucky enough to have William taking care of you, you’re in for a good night. The food was great! Sides were pretty good and the fried/ crispy fish was incredible with the coconut like flavor. Tasted like some food I had in the Bahamas, which is a W for Castaway

To dine at Musso & Frank’s Grill is to have an experience like no other in LA: old world style, dishes that have long since disappeared from the menus of any other of its competitors and the pleasure of knowing that one is dining in a space that has probably catered for virtually every great name ever to have graced Hollywood in the course of the past century. Look beyond the cheap and tawdry pseudo glamour of the rest of the Hollywood strip and allow yourself the pleasure of an authentic experience you will never forget, long after the memory of all the dross of the surrounding razzmatazz has faded into oblivion. Worth every penny twice over.

I like the decoration and atmosphere. I can also tell that the restaurant put a lot of thoughts into the food as the food combination is very creative. I would probably rate the restaurant 4.5 instead of 5 because 1. we asked for grilled medium rare wagyu but it came out to be almost well done. Plus the meat doesn't really taste like wagyu, so I'm guessing it's probably american wagyu. 2. the lobster fried rice has too little lobsters in it.
