Excellent time, enjoying great food with family. Loved the gnocchi and the sausage broccoli rob. A bit disappointed in the bruschetta…it was warm vs. cold. I prefer the bread toasted and crispy and mozzarella cheese cold. I did not like the warm melted cheese.

It has been years since we had a meal at Village Whiskey PHL. Tonight was as good as we remembered. We ate in the bar area even though we had a reservation in the dining room. A great vibe and our server was attentive and the meal was more casual. It was nice sitting in a bar and not having one or more flat screens staring at us. I do appreciate a good sports bar but this was a nice change of pace. Look forward to our next visit.

I a bacon cheeseburger that was better than I expected. Washed it down with a vanilla milkshake. My daughter got the grilled cheese and she liked it . She considers herself a bit of a grilled cheese connoisseur. We came two Wednesdays before Christmas and the place was jam-packed but it was a great atmosphere and the decorations are splendid. It seemed like everyone who stepped through the door was immediately in a joyous mood. I guess it’s the ambience of the place.
