Best Comfort Food Restaurants in University of South Florida

As a self-proclaimed foodie, On Swann does not disappoint. Best restaurant in all of Tampa and surrounding areas. All of their food is delicious and their service cannot be beat. The nibble empanadas are the perfect mix of sweet, savory, and salting, engaging every tastebud. The scallop entree is one of my absolute favorites. And if you have room for dessert, try the white chocolate Carmel bread pudding. Every bite is more delicious than the next.

We had dinner at 4:15 on a Sunday,before the TVs were turned on loud for the football game already in play. The place is cavernous and probably a big draw for FSU students. The prices were reasonable . There is something for everyone and I would be interest in trying other starters. The lobster bisque fries, the pretel and the deviled eggs were all served with some interesting twists. I am sure the place gets filled up as it was starting to when we left and it will no longer be quiet. We will be back.

Chef O was chef’s kiss!!!! She was a breath of fresh air after not receiving the best service from our waitress

Everything about the Edison was over the top. From the minute you walk in and greet the manager until the end of your experience it was wonderful. We had the short ribs as an appetizer and the chicken dish and we couldn’t say it could’ve been any better our bartender Hunter was amazing. We’ve talked about it all day and can’t wait to go back wonderful wonderful experience.

Server was great at accommodating our different needs, attentive & made sure our waters were always full. Food was delicious as always!
