Aside from some rambunctious kids at the table behind us, the noise level was actually pretty tolerable. Wine selection was a little limited as compared to other places but we tried a red blend which was actually pretty good. The menu had a variety of foods from smash burgers to wagyu steak. Their prices were moderate but the food was great! Their fish and chips were the best I've ever had. My girlfriend order the lobster roll which she loved. For dessert we shared the chocolate nocciola which was rich and very chocolatey. Our server was Rachel and she was very attentive and prompt. Parking can be a problem at the Riviera but we got lucky and found a spot right away. We enjoyed this place so much we added it to our rotation...More infoSalt & PearlPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Redondo Beach•4.6
- RRicavipLos Angeles •22 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoExceptional Experience! I had the pleasure of dining at The REX Steakhouse, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of elegance and comfort. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. As for the food, it was nothing short of spectacular. The steaks were cooked to perfection, with a beautiful sear on the outside and tender, juicy flavor inside. The quality of the meat was evident in every bite. The sides and appetizers were equally impressive—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly complementing the main dishes. Don’t even get me started on the desserts; they were the perfect way to round off an amazing meal. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for an excellent meal, The REX is the place to go. Highly recommended—I can’t wait to return!More infoThe Rex SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Redondo Beach•4.7
